Many people associate accidents at work with things like being run over by a fork lift truck or tripping over loose cables in an office. However, there are all sorts of hazards in any workplace and therefore many different types of accidents that can occur. If you have had an injury at work, then you could b able to claim some compensation. The type and severity of the injury does not matter, nor does the industry that you work in.
The main thing that matters with regards to making an accident claim, is that the accident must be due to someone else's negligence, so not your own fault. You may know that it was not your fault, but find this hard to prove. You may not be sure whose fault it is. You may be positive it was not your fault and be able to prove it. In any of these situations, you should be able to go ahead with an injury claim.
The best thing to do is to go to a lawyer and tell them all the details of your case. They will be able to let you know whether you do have enough evidence to go ahead with an injury claim. They may be reluctant to take on the case if they feel you will not win it. Sadly, if you cannot prove it was not your fault, then they may feel that it is not worth pursuing. You could of course go to an alternative lawyer to see whether they are willing to take on the case instead. Some people might even decide to represent themselves, but it is much better to try to find someone who is experienced and qualified to do the job for you. With a bit of time spent researching, it is likely that you will find someone who will do it.
