Reason why I would not have a metal roof

My brother is building a cabin house. He has even decided to move there so the first thing he did was construct a temporary house where he would leave in as he oversaw the construction of his cabins. He wanted to have metal sheets as the roof of his temporary house but the contractors that were offering him with the roofing services told him not to do so. As stubborn as he was, he insisted to know why it was so. He was told that starting price of having a metal roof set up was a lot and since the house would not even stand for a year, he would incur a loss. I do not know why he would even think of having a metal roof. I have twin boys who are two years old. These boys are very noisy and I cannot have extra noise brought in the house because of metal roofs. So what happens with a metal roof is when it rains, the impact of the rain drops to the metal roof is not a joke, the rattling sound is almost deafening.
