My favourite bar is located just astride the busy road of Calcutta. Most often this place is full of crowd with majority of young male and females. It remains open till morning allowing enough time to enjoy. It is my favorite place to drink and dance with my partner. Drinks are imported from 11 countries and separate corners have been made for each country’s stall - the drinks placemats have information about the drink it's sitting under. In the centre of the bar, there is a raised platform, round in shape, for dancing. Couples can enjoy their dance and drink both. Music quality is really good to fascinate all and sundry. Bar has few young dancing girls as well, who are ready to dance with anyone on the stage as a couple. Best thing about this bar can be described in terms of entry into it, ‘only as a couple’. Singles are not allowed inside the dancing hall. It is a nice place to enjoy late at night. |

Weddings are very particular, a wedding says a lot about the couple that is wedding. People who hold very huge elegant weddings represent the affluent wealthy people in the society. Then there are those people who prefer small wedding with a very short guest list and these are the private people in the society. The type of food that is served in the wedding will also represent the nature of the couple. I went to a huge family wedding and the menu was different but good at the same time. They served a lot of meat and there was even a buffet of hog roast. I did not like the sight of the already roasted hog roast. I had never gone to a hog roast wedding and I loved it. I had never eaten so much in a wedding until I was full. Most weddings I had gone too served food in very tiny portions and it was really hard to tell what type food that was being served. This was a vey good wedding as long as I did not look at the roast hog that was staring at me. |

I'm a bit of a hypocrite I guess. When I was in the UK, I'd heard the stories about the typical UK pub - full of locals sneering at strangers. So it was with trepedation that I took part in a bit of a pub crawl concerning pubs on the A53 in the Peak District. And yet, I felt very welcome in all the pubs I went to.
The hypocritical part? I love pubs with character - where you virtually have to earn your right to be treated as a local.
Here's one example:- if you like attitude with your beer, stop in the Dayton Street Gulch in downtown Yellow Springs, Ohio for a cold beer, or other alcoholic beverage of your choosing. Attitude is free, pool table is a buck. If you're tired of the pretentiousness, c'mon down to the Gulch, where we'll slap you upside the head for a free attitude adjustment. Great jukebox, nice pool table, great art on the walls, snarky bartenders - what's not to love. From import beers to PBR's, Jim Beam to Jaeger bombs - this place has it all. Don't be asking for anything to eat - this is a drinking man's bar, not an eating man's restaurant. They do stock a nice variety of chips to pick up the slobber off the bar - hey, alcohol kills germs, right? A great place to down a cold one, shoot the breeze, and no whining, please. After 30 years, it's still my favorite dive bar in Yellow Springs. Check 'em out - tell 'em Mikey sent ya! |

Last year I visited my family friends living in India. I have never been to India before then, therefore it was a nice experience for me. The culture of Indians was something that fascinated me the most, plus the beauty of the country. The way Indians conduct themselves the mannerisms of their children, the women. their food etc. was really great. I was very surprised to see that they even held parties during the celebration times like the tea party wedding held in my home country, for their oncoming weddings.Their weddings are a little different though, and they are done in a traditional manner, unlike in my home country, where most weddings take place in the church. There is so much in India that a person can rejoice in. No wonder I realized that there were so many tourists visiting the country. In fact my host family said that throughout the year, India received visitors from all continents, that was why the country was doing very well especially in its tourism industry. Its a great place to visit on a holiday, for those who love to travel. |

I like my neighborhood so much. Ever since I moved in this part of town, I have always felt needed and loved. My neighbors are very kind. We visit each other over the weekends when we are not working and we organize events like birthday parties and graduation parties for our children together. The other day we came up with a savings plan for our kids and its going very well. We are also planning to be holding Childrens tea party every holiday as a way of bringing our children together for a better and peaceful coexistence. There is peace in my neighborhood. Any differences are resolved as soon as they arise and we are always in good terms with each other. Unlike te neighborhood I once lived in, every neighbor here knows the others by their full names. I know what they all like and dislike and they all know what I like and what I do not like. We live like relatives, each of us caring for the welfare of the other. I hope this will continue forever. |

My job is really interesting I am a collector not only for one company or client, but basically for anyone who needs something that is unique and rare. the one thing that makes it easy is that over time I have developed various connections with people who know where and how I can attain an item a client wants me to collect for them. my current client owns a vintage crockery hire company. she wants me to help her getting more crockery for her collection because her own clients' demand was going high and she had barely enough to cover all their needs. she had her specifications to what she wanted, one being tea pot that was of a baby blue color with a weight of at least ninety pounds. this was a tough job because I was not familiar with vintage crockery, but just like other jobs, I intended to give my client the best. so I called my business contacts and told them to look out for people who have what I need. after three days of searching, I was successful, I found a retailer in Bombay who had what my client needed and more. when I got my client what she wanted, I extended my business contact and added a vintage crockery retailer to my list. |
