Facebook.com: Where to Find Friends and Waste Time

Facebook.com is a website that I make a point of visiting daily. I work online as an admin for a web design directory, and I see a lot of sites everyday, yet it's Facebook that I return to time and again. It has enabled me to keep in touch with my nieces and nephews who live out of state and my in-laws who are “snow birds” who go and live in their condo in Melbourne, Florida during the winter months. This gives us a way to keep tabs on each other in real time and in a way where I can upload pictures and videos of my son for them to see. It has also allowed me to remain close to out of state friends from high school, college and grad school in a way that I would not otherwise be able to. I also have a high stress level job, and I use the games on Facebook to help me wind down after a long day. I particularly enjoy playing Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right and Scrabble with my friends. It also enables me a way to plan celebrations and get togethers with my friends by using their Events feature. All in all, I would have to say that the I spend the majority of my time on Facebook.com and am very pleased with how it lets me stay in touch with the world outside of my own house!
