So, my fear of going into labor in public came true. I was just shopping in the mall, trying to "walk the baby out," when all of a sudden, a gush of water trickled down my legs, and unto the carpet of the store! I remember reading a similar account on a health directory of a woman in the same situation as me, but couldn't recall the details of what she did next! I didn't know whether to clean it up, because this had played out in my mind a thousand of times and I was freaking out. I looked up from the puddle of water, and just saw young men in the store, which made the situation even more awkward. So, I tried to stay calm, but I wobbled out to the middle of the store and the first female I ran into, I blurted out "My water just broke, what do I do?" And she said, "Well, go to the hospital!" The thoughts of, do I drive myself, do I call an ambulance? I didn't know what to do, I just cried and cried, and finally a security man came up to rescue me, and he couldn't have been anymore quirkier than the mall cop on the movie! He asked the most dumb questions like "Are you in pain?" "Do you want to go to the hospital?" Of course I wanted to go to the hospital, I didn't want to be the huge cow giving birth next to the Victoria Secret!! And of course I am in pain, I am about to give birth to something the size of a watermelon!! Hello!! We finally got an ambulance, and after trying to call my husband 13 times, he finally answered and we had a beautiful baby girl. |

The 'geek chic' t-shirt has made a splash on the fashion scene in recent years, and for good reason. Quirky t-shirts are fun, playful and incredibly versatile - they go so well with other accessories - from clutch bags to jewellery. For instance the 'Superman' logo tee has been quite popular with both men and women. Other comic book inspired tees are also very cute and suit the current social climate that it's cool to be geeky. Off road dirt bike riding is just as popular in Southeast Texas as it is in other parts of the United States. However, obviously the big cities such as Houston are not conducive for dirt road biking. Luckily there are several other places located in the region where you can take your motocross gear and bike that are perfect for doing just that. One of those places is called Creek Side Edge. Located not too far north of Houston in Splendora, the park boasts a main track that fits all skill levels. It is the perfect place to go for beginners to learn the sport. Another park in Southeast Texas that is great for off road biking is called General Sam’s Offroad Park. This Huntsville park has over 60 miles of trails for all kinds off road vehicles. It also has camping areas for both tents and RVs. If you love getting down and dirty then this is the park for that since it even has a mud bog. It most definitely has something the entire family can enjoy. However, if these are not the place for you, there are plenty of other off road parks around Southeast Texas and absolutely no reason why some fun in the sun cannot be had! |

My favorite console is the Sega Master System II. Previously we had to hire it from a video shop and could only use it for weekends. This was very popular in the 1990's and has lots of retro video games. Now I'm grown up, I work on an electronics assembly line calibrating round pillars so can appreciate the electronics behind the consoles. I spent lots of my free time player Alex Kidd in Miracle World. I must have played that game every day for an entire year. I also enjoyed Wonder Boy. There are so many interesting levels and have clocked it twice. I had a collection of over 60 games however I only really played two or three of them. The Sega Master System is better than any of the consoles that are on the market today. I wish they were still developing games for it as I think it would still be incredibly popular. I still have the original box and is in pristine condition. |

How can a simple accessory like a pashmina or a glove change the way you feel? Well, in short, I think I'm one of those obsessed type girls. So, an ordinary accessory can easily help me to gain confidence. And for me, it's called ''gloves''... I'm into anything retro, I like old fashioned stuff. Thus, gloves have always been my major helping hand. I know, that sounds weird, yet I always wear gloves, even in those extremely hot and dry summer days. Just like Kate Ames did in the movie called ''East Of Eden''. I'm sure, people ever seen this movie couldn't get rid of the image of Kate! What's more, thanks to my many kind of gloves, I'm known around as ''The Girl With the Gloves''. For sure, it's a gift, to build a feeling of confidence. And, I didn't even tell how those gloves can easily make me attractive and mysterious for anyone! |

I'm tired of all the tinny sounds I hear coming out of modern compositions. The sound frequencies are so non-dynamic and ultra-compressed - making them so-called "radio friendly" (i.e. equally loud sounds throughout each song) and frankly awful to listen to from the point of view of anyone who is even remotely into sound production. I searched for recording studios france in Google the other day as I want my band's debut album to be recorded in a proper studio by a proper record producer who understands the nuances and subtleties of record production. Yes, it's more expensive than doing it ourselves via software, but our album will last forever, and it could be a our launchpad to a career in music, so why compromise? Also, a lot of bands are producing themselves, and it's easy to hear that they are producing themselves as the production values are lacking - we want to be different. |

My sister always found joy in teaching kindergarten but now she has been transferred to a computer school for the children who are over age and she loves talking of the same lesson every week. From the time she started teaching these classes, all she loves doing is showing her students how to number rows in excel. She tells me that this lesson helps her bond with new students each time she goes to a new class because of the way she conducts it, and she thinks that this is a good way to bond with her children. I guess this is the joy of a teacher, because now they are able to know how to communicate with their students and show them the right path, and if this is what my sister is going through, being sure to appreciate teaching and I think she is content with what she does without any problems. I would also love to fall in love with my career once I am through with school and working for a particular company. |

In some cases, a humorous or satirical gift is in order, depending on how well you know your friend or family member and what type of personality they have. Do you and the gift receiver share an inside joke? Are they starting a new job and need decor for their desks? In this case, it is easy to show that you care about the person and have paid attention to their particular life circumstances with a well thought out — and clever — gift. In other cases, a more serious gift is required. If the gift is a serious gift, then the gifts fall into two categories: thoughtful inexpensive gifts or expensive gifts. Both categories of "thoughtful" and "expensive" gifts should be items that the gift receiver should have the need for, have the want for, and finally, if you don't know them very well, have mentioned that they wanted or needed it. It's important that the gift be something that the person will use, which doesn't necessarily mean practical, but does mean that the gift will NOT end up in the waste stream. Thoughtful inexpensive gifts can be handmade items or items the receiver has specifically mentioned wanting or needing. Expensive gifts can be things that anyone would want, such as household appliances (especially if that person is a cook) or tickets to events (depending on what their interests are). The bottom line is that your gift should be a reflection of who the receiver is as a person and NOT you as a person. Try to give the person what they want and also that you as the giver are happy to give. |

While my wife has quite a wide range of tastes when it comes to fashion - from her Fever dresses to her Doc martens - I'm quite the reserved - but smart - male.
My favourite item of fashion is the plain white shirt. It’s got a bit of a dodgy press in recent times, tarred with the same brush as the necktie that often accompanies it. Once a national object of suave sophistication, it has been corrupted through its appropriation as an object of uniform not for no reason is the educated professional called the white-collar worker. Generations of schoolchildren have been forced to blearily shawl themselves in white shirts every cold winter morning. Years of slick businessmen and bank managers white-clad and buttoned-up have done nothing for its image either. Yet the white shirt is a fashion classic not in spite of its ubiquity but because of it. Too many people try to avoid the old white-collar cliché by leaving it untucked or open-necked- the politician’s idea of casual- or pulling on a coloured shirt instead. Resist. If you want to look better than the men around you, beat them at their own game. Wear your white shirt with pride, tucked in, buttoned up, with tie and jacket. It’s the sign of a man. And what’s more, an individual. |
